Dr. Charles Odame-Ankrah

Board Chairman

Known for his tireless dedication both as an accomplished scientist during the day and as a community volunteer at night, Dr. Charles Odame-Ankrah is a remarkable individual who has made significant contributions in multiple domains. As an Air Quality Scientist, his innovative inventions have revolutionized his field, including the Photolytic Convertor, which received a United States patent in December 2022.
His passion for solving problems collaboratively is evident in his favorite question: “How can we solve it together? He is a multi-award winning community Leader.
His passion for working with youth is evident in his volunteer work, which includes running workshops for and speaking to at-risk youth. He is also the current President of the Ghanaian-Canadian Association of Calgary and is a member of the Alberta Anti-Racism Advisory Council.

Georges Pigoue

M. Pigoué enseigne depuis plus de seize ans à Calgary. Parallèlement, il s’implique comme bénévole dans plusieurs organismes. Au sein de ces organisations, il a occupé plusieurs postes de responsabilité.
Il a été vice-président du Centre d’accueil des nouveaux arrivants francophones (CANAF) à Calgary. Actuellement, il est président de la Association camerounaise canadienne de Calgary (CCAC) depuis 2018. De plus, il entraîne régulièrement des jeunes de 3 à 14 ans à jouer au soccer et à arbitrer des matchs de soccer depuis plus de 27 ans. Il peut communiquer dans plus de trois langues : français, allemand et anglais.

Mr. Pigoué has been teaching for over sixteen years in Calgary. At the same time, he has been involved as a volunteer in several organizations. Within these organizations, he has held several positions of responsibility.
He was Vice President of the Centre d’accueil des nouveaux arrivants francophones (CANAF) in Calgary. Currently, he is the President of the Cameroonian Canadian Association of Calgary (CCAC) since 2018.
Furthermore, he has been coaching youngsters from 3 to 14 years old to play soccer and referee soccer games regularly for over 27 years. He can communicate in more than three languages: French, German and English.

Elizabeth Julliet Tenga

Board Member

Elizabeth Julliet Tenga. Originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Registered Nurse, works at the Canmore General Hospital. She is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for the Bow Valley Primary Care Network. She is a Board member Embrace International. Elizabeth is married with four sons.
